WELCOME! I’M HENRY

At the age of 19 I left my small, strange hometown of Branson, Missouri to see the world. I wanted to see through the eyes of people different from myself. I hitchhiked with a couple friends up the west coast of the US, then Mexico, Australia, Egypt, Moldova, India, Ethiopia, Europe and New Zealand. I sojourned far away, encountering new parts of myself for the first time in the company of strangers. I wanted to experience growth on other continents, feet planted in new soil. During this season of wandering I began taking photos. I made it my daily mission to capture what I was seeing in a way that wasn’t fabricated or staged. I wanted to draw attention to the little details of my nomadic life that I found beautiful or evocative.

MY APPROACH My approach to every shoot I do is a mixture of organic, minimally directed portraiture & photojournalism. I'm there for more than just showing up and clicking a button. I'm there to be a friend that you can trust entirely with the capturing of your wedding day. I will help advise you on any wedding related questions you may have during the months leading up to your wedding (I’ve helped couples with their schedule many times). There’s a lot to keep track of on your wedding day, the last thing you need is a photographer who’s uncertain of what to do or too shy to adapt as situations change. I guarantee confidence and a positive, helpful presence throughout your wedding day.
